MIDLAND YOUTH BALLET

The Midland Youth ballet was set up in 2004, opened at the Brewhouse Arts Centre with Swan Lake.

It was established for those students wishing to perform in a Theatre on a more regular basis than the traditional Annual School Performance.

Midland Youth Ballet has been running for 14 years with many performances, including Alice in Wonderland, as well as the traditional Ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and many others!

We were fortunate to receive a World-wide exception to create Harry Potter as a Ballet. This was inspired by the movements of lovable Dobbie!

The Midland Youth Ballet is open to pupils age 6 and above.

Pupils are encouraged to take on solo parts, group performances and lead roles.

This class is taken in addition to regular grade classes to ensure technical skills are maintained.
