Stephanie Parrott School Of Dance
About Us
Following Auditions I attained a place at the West Street School of Classical Ballet, in Covent Garden. During the first year, I was offered a Scholarship at the Royal Academy of Dance also in London, where I trained full time for a further two years.
I am a fully registered teacher with the R.A.D and hold the Advanced Professional ARAD Qualification and Teaching Diploma. I am also qualified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance achieving A.I.S.T.D and teaching qualification in Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Tap and Musical Theatre.
I was fortunate to be trained by the best, David Wall C.B.E, who at the age of 21 was the youngest male principal dancer to dance with Margot Fonteyn.
After many conversations with David Wall, by then director of the R.A.D he would say “Do what you love, work hard and enjoy!”
There have been many highlights to my dancing career, but possibly my favourites was dancing for Princess Diana at the Mermaid Theatre in London and on stage at Sadlers Wells.
My passion is now teaching and I look forward to introducing your son or daughter to the world of Dance where they can grow in confidence, and gain new skills and techniques, friendship and above all the love of Dance.
